Eli Goldstein is a lecturer at the School of Economics and at the Interdisciplinary Centre at the Ashkelon Academic College, Israel. Eli has a Ph.D. from Bar Ilan University (2006), specializing deregulation, economics, and the environment. His research interests focus on the impact of market deregulation on the environment and on the economy in general. He is also interested in the occupational and economic profile of Jewish life in the diaspora.

Worked for about three years in the consulting firm Assyag Consultants. In this context, he provided financial and accounting advice to public and private companies.
Currently works for the Israel Securities Authority.
