Cyril Kahloun, MOptom.
Cyril Kahloun is the director of the General Clinic of Optometry and a Senior Teacher at Hadassah Academic College (Jerusalem, Israel).
He is a licensed optometrist in Israel with a Bachelor and a Master of Optometry and Vision Science from Hadassah Academic College.
He acquired 10 years’ experience and clinical skills at Shaarei Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and since 2004, he is a private practice owner in the heart of Jerusalem.
Between 2008 and 2014, he was a member of the practical examination board of optometry for the Israeli Ministry of Health.
His interactive lectures focus on clinical case analysis and evidence-based practice for making decisions for patient optometric care.
Among his practical fields: specialty contact lenses, irregular corneas and keratoconus, low vision rehabilitation and complex optometric clinical cases.
As a clinical director, he brought many innovations in order to modernize the way of thinking about the clinics, students and patient care.
