Coordinator of the Immigrant Leadership Program and Media & Marketing Manager, Mateh Binyamin Regional Council
I decided to study Behavioral Sciences because of the subjects that make up the degree – Psychology, Anthropology, and Sociology. I wanted to study a field that would allow me to work in the public sector with diverse populations.
I chose Hadassah Academic College because I wanted to study in a high-quality, uncrowded environment. I was drawn to the college’s atmosphere, its unique location in central Jerusalem, and the program's curriculum.
Today, I work at the Young Adults Center of the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council as the Coordinator of the Immigrant Leadership Program and Media & Marketing Manager. My responsibility is to design a program for new immigrants – a social program focused on enrichment, guidance, and familiarization with Israeli society. My work is closely related to my studies in Behavior Science, and I feel that I am now putting into practice the skills that I learned during my degree program.
I fondly remember the faculty at the college, their accessibility and their efforts to assist and accommodate students. When I needed to complete a particular course, the program coordinator was always there to provide support and help me to find the best way to accomplish my goals.
The course 'Intergenerational Documentation' left a lasting impression on me – it was an incredible class in which each student worked together with a senior citizen, working together each week to produce a printed life story.”
