Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat marked the start of the academic year with a special visit to Hadassah Academic College. "The College plays a major role in the renewal of the city's downtown".

Newly elected College President Prof. Bertold Fridlender opened the festive event. "Our students' success is the success of Hadassah Academic College, and the success of the College is a success for all Jerusalem". Prof. Fridlender emphasized that Hadassah College is the only institution of higher learning in the city center.
