Mr. Nimrod Levi, a 26 year old first year student in the Department of Photographic Communications at Hadassah Academic College was awarded second prize in Yad Vashem annual poster competition.

Levi was born in Belgium and immigrated to Israel at the age of 12. He is the grandson of Rosa and Arye Levin z"l who perished in the Holocaust. Levi currently lives in Jerusalem.

The judges selected Levi's entry in recognition of the photographer's focus on survivors, with the black background symbolizing the trauma they had endured.
