Last week, eye examinations were done at the village of Beit Jann, as part of the final project of an undergraduate student who lives there. The project was carried out jointly with the Care Institute. Dr. Einat Shneor, the students Hana Hamoud and Hanin Magandef, Aghbaria Hiba together with two team members from Care who came in a van full of equipment, performed clinical examinations and eye-scan tests. The examinations included advanced instrumentation for mapping of the retina. A total of over 70 people were examined and given referrals if needed, all as service to the community. At the end of the day, Hana Hamoud’s family hosted the team in its home for a delicious meal.
