Shenkar College leads this consortium on leadership and business entrepreneurship, as part of the European Erasmus+ program. The project is aimed at promoting creative leadership in innovative industries, from the educational, economic and political aspects.

In Europe, several steps have been taken towards integrating creativity in innovation and design, in both industry and higher education. In the new (July 2011) Creative Europe program, Europe has begun to establish a unique system (with participation of large and small industrial corporations, government and academia) to cultivate sustainable cultural and creative growth.

The consortium seeks to benefit from the European experience, with the aim of learning the European system's measures of success, and assimilate them in the local economy, and in Israel's institutions of higher education.

The main contribution of Hadassah Academic College will be through its Department of Photographic Communication, headed by Prof. Moshe Caine. The department has taken a clear position, directed at harnessing creative applications in innovative commerce and industry. This move of the department corresponds to the changing map of creative industries, and opening of new opportunities for skilled professionals in this area. For this reason, the consortium's initiative is well-timed, with the hope of it leading down new paths in the department's interdisciplinary development, and promoting cooperation among the different college departments.

In addition, the college will lead the quality control work group. The college representative will be a member in the consortium's governing council.
