President of Hadassah Academic College, Prof. Bertold Friedlander, presided over one of the most exciting conferences of Unesco – The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The conference is another link in a series of all-embracing conferences, held at Columbia University in New York and at the Unesco World Heritage Center in Paris. The activity is aimed at creating a meeting of different cultures, and we are proud of the fact that Hadassah Academic College was chosen as host and representative of Israeli culture. The conference was attended by honorable representatives of the Kazakh culture, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel, Mr. Dulat Kuanyshev, and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to UNESCO, Mr. Olzhas Suleymenov. Prof. Friedlander told the conference that UNESCO policy is entirely in accord with the vision of the college – to bring cultures and peoples closer together, from both the academic and the social aspects.
