College President Prof. Bertold Fridlender and Dr. Ariela Gordon-Shaag, Chair of the Department of Optometry and Vision Science dedicated a new teaching and research laboratory in optometry on Monday, July 20th. The new laboratory was made possible through the generosity of Dr. Irwin and Donna Azman and Dr. Howard and Barbara Woolf, both of Baltimore, MD.

The new laboratory will allow for a variety of studies including to identify risk factors for early detention and potential prevention of keratoconus and contact lens research. The laboratory covers a 500 square ft. area and includes three examination lanes and a 15-seat area for student instruction.

Prof. Fridlender and Dr. Gordon-Shaag dedicate the new laboratory
