The Tempus Project in LLAF (Lifelong Learning in Applied Fields) lead by Hadassah Academic College, has held the third consortium meeting at Aalen University, Germany. The conference focused on preparations for implementation of the courses at the various institutions (pilots) and ways in which to assess and evaluate them. Present at the meeting were 28 participants from the various partner institutions in the consortium.
During the event, an emotional visit was made to the former synagogue in the town of Oberndorf. The town's entire Jewish community was murdered in the holocaust, with only one remaining survivor. After the war he emigrted to Boston and established the museum. The synagogue is not used for worship rather as a museum for the history of the Jewish community of Ostalbkreis.
