In the middle of May, the conference of the European Academy of Optometry and Optics in Budapest. At the conference, Mr. Jonathan Shapiro received a fellowship from the European Academay of Optometry.

As part of the conference, three faculty members spoke in several frameworks:

Mr. Jonathan Shapiro conducted workshops on binocular vision and a lecture on providing special prisms.

Ms. Dinah Paritzky delivered a lecture on innovations in the teaching of optometry, and presented a poster on the use of a model site for the improvement of teaching.

Dr. Einat Schneur gave a lecture on research papers as a basis for clinical decisions, and presented two posters: one examining a new instrument for measuring the thickness of the retina for healthy people and for Keratoconus patients; the other poster was on the study of scientific writing and clinical research methods for students with no research background.

In the conference participated a graduate of the college, Abed Al-Kader Wattad, who gave a presentation on adapting special lenses for Keratoconus disease.
