The final project of Oz Bedermen—graduate of the Department of Inclusive Industrial Design- Fit, was accepted to Grand Challenges, a program lead by the Chief Scientist jointly with the Prime Minister's Office and philanthropists from around the world. As part of the project, Benderman developed a prosthesis individually adapted to children in developing nations (Third World Countries). The prosthesis "grows" with the child, thus enabling him multiannual use. Beyond the significant expression of confidence from a body such as the scientist, that can help in bringing investors, the program distributes considerable grants, with which Benderman hopes to achieve the Proof of Concept stage in the product's development, within a year.
