Students from the optometry sciences department made a visit at production facility of Shamir Optical Industry, the fourth largest manufacturer of lenses for eyeglasses. Students learned first hand what really takes place in the various complex stages of the lens manufacturing process, facilitating the manufacture of first rate lenses.
