A tour was held yesterday for third year students of the Biotechnology department at the Omrix Biopharmaceuticals Company. The goal of the tour was to acquaint the students with the company and provide them with direct exposure to employment opportunities. The students learned about the company's values, goals, products, manufacturing and quality control, as well as equipment and progressive technologies. Ido Wellman, the manufacturing manager, provided the students with a tour on the manufacturing line. Baruch Finik led a tour in the micro-biology and chemistry labs.

The Career Counseling Center pursues close ties with this bio-technology company that develops and manufactures life-saving products in the fields of bio-surgery and passive inoculations. The Center also hosts joint recruitment days for the students and the company, advertises ongoing openings in the company for the students and college alumni plus lectures, tours and more.
