1st year students from the tourist route in the Faculty of Service Organizations’ Management visited the King David Hotel as a part of the course, “Introduction to the Tourism and Hotel Sector.” The King David Hotel is one of the leading luxury hotels in the State of Israel with a splendid historical heritage. Throughout the years and up to the present, this hotel has been the designation for visits by world leaders and dignitaries.
The students listened to a lecture by the hotel GM, Mr. Chaim Sheki, on the hotel sector in general and managing the King David Hotel in particular. Afterwards, there was an interesting review of the history and characteristics of the hotel by the Guidance Manager, Avital. After the lectures, there was a tour of the hotel including the observation balcony, the presidential and royal suites, the dairy and meat restaurants, lobby and library.
