HAC students volunteer a minimum of two hours a week at a wide variety of Jerusalem non-profit community organizations and institutions throughout the course of the year.

Many of the volunteer opportunities involve acting as "big brothers & sisters" to help primary and secondary school children with their homework and project assignments.

This week, students volunteered at schools around west Jerusalem to prepare Chanuka celebrations. This included working with primary-age school children at "Shema Jerusalem", the city's educational center for deaf and hearing impaired children, and at the Yad Hamoreh School for special needs children.
