She moved to Jerusalem in 2012 to pursue three consecutive degrees in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem: a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biology, completed in 2015; an M.Sc. in Chemistry in the group of Prof. Itamar Willner, in the field of nano-biotechnology, completed in 2017; and a Ph.D. in Chemistry in the group of Prof. Edit Y. Tshuva, which specializes in Titanium-based chemotherapeutics, scheduled to be completed in 2023. During her M.Sc. and Ph.D., she worked as a teaching assistant in several courses in the university, among which are “Organic Chemistry A” for B.Sc. chemistry students, “General Chemistry for Bio-Medical Students”, “General Chemistry Lab for Biology Students”, and “Material Chemistry Lab”. Her research interests include working on the interface between chemistry and biology, in the hopes that better understanding the biological mechanisms of different diseases, and specifically cancer, will enable to improve the treatment options we can provide humanity as chemists.
