Message from the Department Head

The Inclusive Industrial Design Department equips students with the practical skills they need to succeed in the design industry. Our human-centered approach integrates creativity, technology, and research to develop meaningful, inclusive, and innovative design solutions. We emphasize hands-on experience, real-world collaborations, and a commitment to social impact, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared to create designs that meet human needs and drive positive change.

Areas of activity

The Inclusive Industrial Design department is unique in its focus on inclusive design, user research, service design, and research & development processes. These pillars equip students with the skills to develop innovative solutions that respond to diverse human needs and create meaningful impact.

Students gain hands-on experience through field trips, practical workshops, and collaborative projects with industry partners, academic institutions, and social organizations. These activities provide exposure to real-world challenges, encourage interdisciplinary thinking, and help students expand their professional network, preparing them to lead and innovate in the design industry.

Career Opportunities

Graduates work in product development, UX/UI, service design, medical design, and strategic design. Many secure positions in leading design firms, high-tech companies, and healthcare institutions or establish their own studios. The department provides career development support, internship programs, and portfolio guidance.
