Exhibition: Rescuers and Survivors

A few students from third-year photographic communications helped document the story of Latin American diplomats who saved Jews during the Holocaust. The documented stories were filmed and will be part of the exhibit. The students involved in the project are: Maya Daphne, Maayan Diskin, Avital Hirsch and David-Michael Cohen.

According to Isaac Weiss, Jerusalem House of Quality Director, "the students have created a personal and human gathering of experience and information, emotion and heritage with the survivors. Connection is established between the young student and the survivor, who lives in the past -- a dominant theme in a survivor's life. The student is the one who told the story through film and became a witness by documenting stories of rescuers. Hearing first-hand stories of rescuers allows each student to share this experience with younger generations.

The exhibit runs from April 28, 2014 - May 12, 2014 at the Jerusalem House of Quality. To view the invitation please click here.
